OLO Coaching

Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This is the agreement between you and OLO Coaching. It covers what the coaching is, what you pay for it, how to stop, and what this app does and does not promise. It is written in plain English on purpose, and it is meant to be read rather than scrolled past.

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.

The short version

  • OLO Coaching is nutrition and habit coaching. It is not medical care, and nobody here is treating you.
  • If you are on medication through the clinical program, that is prescribed by an independent medical provider, not by OLO Coaching and not by your coach.
  • Nothing in the app is allergen information. If you have a food allergy, read the label every time.
  • Plans renew monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.
  • We do not promise a result. Nobody honest can promise you a number on a scale.
  • You must be 18 or older.

Who you are agreeing with

OLO Coaching is the coaching app and program described on this site, operated by OLO Coaching LLC. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator of OLO Coaching, and "you" means the person using the app.

You can reach a real person at aaron@vivolowellness.com about anything on this page.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. The app is built for adults, it asks about your body, your health and your medications, and it is not designed for or directed at children.

Accounts are created by invitation from a coach rather than by signing up. Your account is yours alone. Do not share your password or let anybody else use your account, and tell us if you think somebody has got into it. What happens on your account is treated as done by you.

The information you give us has to be true. Your coach builds your plan out of what you tell them about your weight, your training, your conditions and your medications, so an answer that is not accurate produces a plan that is not appropriate. That is the main reason honesty here matters more than it does on a normal app.

What the coaching is

You are matched with a coach, you fill in an intake, and your coach builds you a plan: calorie and macro targets, or a simpler version of the same thing, plus habits like water, steps and sleep. You log what you eat and do, you check in on a schedule, and your coach reads it and adjusts.

Plans differ in how much of your coach you get: how often they review your check-in, and how many one-to-one sessions are included. What you agreed with your coach is what you were shown when you arranged your coaching.

Our top plan is not a fixed price. After you sign up you have a video consult with your coach to agree what your plan includes, and any add-ons - video calls, in person sessions if you are local, emergency access - are agreed and priced with them before they happen and are charged separately. If it turns out not to be the right fit, we will refund you or move you to another plan.

One-to-one sessions are 15 minutes, booked and charged separately from your monthly plan. Booking is handled by Calendly, which is not us.

Your coach is a coach. A coach reads what you log, adjusts your targets, answers your questions and holds you to the plan. A coach does not diagnose anything, does not treat anything, and does not prescribe anything.

We do not guarantee a result. Not a weight, not a body composition, not a timeline. What you get is a plan and somebody paying attention to it. What your body does with that depends on you and on things neither of us controls.

Money

Coaching is billed monthly and continues until you end it. Payment is arranged with your coach and taken on our website. Your card details go to our payment processor directly and never reach us.

You are charged on the same day each month until you end your coaching. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any tax that may apply where you live. If we change what you pay, we will tell you before it affects you, and you can stop if you do not want to pay the new amount.

The mobile apps are the same site in a native shell.

If a payment fails, your plan may lapse and your access may drop. We will not usually cut you off the same day, but do not rely on that: keep your card current.

Cancelling

You can end your coaching at any time. Tell your coach, or email us. You do not have to explain yourself or sit through a phone call.

Ending your coaching stops the next charge. It does not end your access immediately: you keep everything you have paid for until the end of that period, and it lapses then.

We do not automatically refund part of a month. Stopping part way through a month ends it at the end of that month rather than refunding the unused days.

That is the rule, not a wall. If something has gone genuinely wrong, email us and a real person will look at it. Any refund beyond the rule above is at our discretion, and asking costs you nothing.

We can end the coaching relationship too. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for abuse of a coach or another person, or where continuing would be unsafe or dishonest. Where we do that and you have paid for time you have not had, we will refund the unused part unless the reason for closing it was abuse.

Medication and the clinical program

Some clients are also in a clinical program involving prescription medication, including GLP-1 medications. If that is not you, this section does not apply to you. If it is you, read it properly, because it is the part of this agreement that can actually hurt you.

OLO Coaching does not practise medicine, does not prescribe, and does not dispense. Every prescription, dose, and decision to start, change or stop a medication comes from a licensed medical provider who is independent of us. Your coach is not that provider and cannot act as one.

What the app does in that program is coordination and record keeping. It holds the details the provider and your coach need, it sends you reminders and reorder prompts, it tells the provider when you have asked for a refill or a call, and it keeps your nutrition coaching lined up with what you are taking. Every clinical decision it appears to carry is a decision the provider made.

A reorder link we email you is personal to you. Treat it like a key: do not forward it, because anyone with the link can act on your medication in the system.

Medication, lab work and consultations are charged by the provider, the pharmacy or the lab, under their own terms, and are not part of your OLO coaching.

You have to tell the provider the truth about your health, and tell them promptly about side effects or changes. Do not use this app to report a medical problem and then wait.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call emergency services. Do not log it, do not message your coach, and do not wait for a reply.

Health, and what this app is not

OLO Coaching is nutrition and habit coaching. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition, and nothing in it is a substitute for advice from a doctor or a registered dietitian.

Talk to a clinician before you start, and especially if you have a medical condition, a history of disordered eating, an eating disorder now, a serious allergy, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Calorie targets, fasting, weight loss and hard training are not safe for everyone, and a number this app calculates knows nothing about your history.

The targets are arithmetic. Your calorie and macro numbers are worked out from formulas using what you told us about your body and your activity. They are a starting estimate that your coach adjusts from what actually happens, not a measurement of you.

Stop and get advice if something feels wrong. No plan in this app is worth pushing through pain, faintness, or a symptom that frightens you.

Food, macros and allergens

The app suggests food, plans meals, and shows you calories and macros. Here is exactly what that is worth.

The food suggestions and the meal planner hold no allergen information and are not responsible for it. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, the label on the package and the person who cooked the food are your only sources. Check them every time, including for a food this app has suggested to you before.

They do not know what a particular package, brand, recipe or restaurant dish contains, whether it was made on shared equipment, or whether the recipe changed last month. They cannot tell you a food is safe for you, and they never try to.

The diet filters are a preference, not a safety check. You can tell the app you keep to a diet, and that changes which foods get suggested to you and does nothing else. It never stops you logging anything, because your log has to stay honest to be worth anything. Those filters work off what a food generally is: bread is generally wheat, yogurt is generally dairy. A generalisation is not a guarantee about the item in front of you. Gluten free here means the recipe usually is, not that the package is certified.

Calories and macros come from a list of common foods maintained by OLO, the United States Department of Agriculture's public food data, and Open Food Facts, which is a public database anyone can edit. Some come from what you or your coach typed in. We check what we can, and a record whose calories contradict its own macros is refused rather than shown. That still leaves numbers that are approximate, out of date, or wrong for the specific product in your hand. Treat them as a good estimate for coaching, not as a nutrition label.

Your photos and what you write

Progress photos, your logs, your check-ins and your messages stay yours. We do not claim ownership of any of it.

You give us permission to store it and show it to the people who need it to coach you, which is your coach and, where it is relevant, the clinical provider looking after you. That permission exists so the app can work, and it ends when the content is deleted.

We will never use your photos in marketing, on the website, on social media, or in front of anyone outside your coaching, unless you have separately and specifically said yes. Being a client is not that yes.

You can delete any progress photo yourself, at any time, without asking anyone. What happens to your data more broadly, and how to have it all deleted, is in the Privacy Policy.

Only upload photos of yourself, and only content you have the right to upload.

Our content

The lessons, articles, guides, the welcome packet, the food list, the scoring system and the app itself are ours. You get to use them personally, for as long as you are a client.

You may not republish them, sell them, feed them into a product of your own, or hand your plan and materials to somebody who has not paid for coaching. Screenshotting something for a friend is not what this is about; reselling the program is.

Using the app sensibly

Do not:

  • abuse, threaten or harass a coach, a provider, or anybody else
  • use somebody else's account, or let them use yours
  • try to break, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the app
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything that is not yours to upload
  • use the app to get medication under false pretences, including by misrepresenting your health

We can suspend or close an account that does any of these, and for abuse we will do it without warning.

The app itself

We try to keep the app running and we do not promise it always will be. It can go down, lose a connection, or be interrupted while we change something. Log what you can and tell your coach if something is broken.

Parts of the app depend on companies that are not us: hosting, the database, email delivery, payment, calendar booking, push notifications, and the public food databases. If one of those breaks, part of this app breaks with it. They are listed by name in the Privacy Policy.

The app is a shell around this same website, so everything in these terms applies the same way whichever way you open it.

We may change what the app does. Features get added, changed and removed. If we remove something central to the plan you are paying for, you can cancel.

Where our responsibility ends

We stand behind the coaching. We take real care with your plan and your data, and if we get something wrong we want to hear about it and fix it.

What we cannot carry is responsibility for what your body does, for a decision you make off the back of a suggestion, for a food you ate that turned out to contain something, for medical care given by a provider who is not us, or for a service outside our control failing. The app is provided as it is, and beyond what the law where you live requires of us, our responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before whatever went wrong.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot legally be limited, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you rather than quietly editing the page. Carrying on using the app after a change means you accept it. If you do not, cancel.

Disputes

Start by emailing us. Almost everything that has ever gone wrong between a coach and a client has been fixed by somebody reading the message properly.

If that does not work, these terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, and any dispute goes to the courts there.
